Zirconium or E-max crowns
Dental crowns are placed over implants but can also be used to cover a broken or decayed tooth where the damage is significant, such as after root canal treatment.
Crowns are also used to protect a fragile tooth from breaking, to cover discolored or irregularly shaped teeth, and to hold a bridge or denture in place.
Protection of the natural tooth
Aesthetic improvement of the smile
Durable and long-lasting solution
Precise and natural fit to existing teeth
Ceramic, Metal-ceramic crowns
Ceramic or metal-ceramic dental crowns are protective coverings that are placed over damaged or weak teeth to restore their natural shape, function, and appearance.
These crowns combine the strength of an internal metal structure with the beauty of an external ceramic, offering a durable yet aesthetically harmonious solution, particularly suitable for complex restorations or dental bridges.
High resistance thanks to the internal metal structure
Natural aesthetics with ceramic coating
Reliable solution for complex restorations and dental bridges
Rehabilitation and long-term stability and support
Fixed Prostheses
Fixed prosthetics, such as All-on-4 and All-on-6 dental implants, are permanent solutions to replace
all missing teeth in a jaw. Fixed dentures are securely anchored to dental implants,
offering stability, comfort and a natural tooth feel.
High stability thanks to anchoring to dental implants
Natural sensation during chewing and phonation
Fixed and permanent solution for complete arches
Greater comfort than removable dentures
Significant improvement in aesthetics and quality of life
Removable Prostheses
Removable dentures, like traditional dentures, are removable solutions that can be easily inserted and removed by the patient. They are supported by the bone structure and surrounding gum tissue, ensuring stability and functionality during daily use.
Removable and easy to manage solution
Adaptation to gum and bone tissues
Affordable option for tooth replacement
Possibility of simple and complete oral hygiene

Dental prosthetics in Tirana: types, materials, and procedures
Dental prosthetics replace one or more missing teeth—or restore the crown when it's damaged. At Gaia Clinic, we work with three main families: fixed prosthetics, removable prosthetics, and implant-supported prosthetics, choosing materials and techniques based on the clinical case.
Fixed prosthetics: crowns, bridges, inlays
Multilayer zirconia crowns are our standard choice for posterior teeth and for restoring root canal-treated teeth. For the aesthetic anterior region, we use IPS e.max ceramic, which has superior translucency. Bridges replace one or more teeth, supported by natural teeth or implants.
Inlays: an alternative to large fillings
When a cavity is too extensive for a traditional filling but not yet sufficiently extensive to require a crown, an inlay (composite or ceramic) reconstructs the missing portion while keeping more healthy tissue intact.
Removable prostheses: total and partial
Removable full dentures rehabilitate a completely edentulous arch. Partial dentures rest on the remaining teeth with precision clasps or attachments. They are the most economical and rapid solution when implant treatment is not indicated.
Implant-based prosthesis
We can screw single crowns onto Straumann implants, build bridges on 2-3 implants to replace multiple teeth, or rehabilitate a full arch with All-on-4 or All-on-6. Implant-supported prosthetics are detailed on the dental implants page .
Route and times
Visit and intraoral scan at the first appointment. The clinic's in-house laboratory creates the restoration in 7-14 days, depending on the technique. Before final cementation, we perform an aesthetic trial to validate the shape and color with you.
Duration and maintenance
With good home hygiene and checkups every 6-12 months, a zirconium crown lasts an average of 10-15 years; a removable denture should be relined every 2-3 years to accommodate changes in the bone. We maintain a commercial warranty on the product according to the terms stated in the estimate.
