Dental veneers are thin layers that cover the outer surface of the tooth, altering its shape, color, or position. At Gaia Clinic, we work with three main materials—composite, IPS ceramic, and E-max—and offer them only after a clinical evaluation.
Composite veneers
They're molded directly onto the tooth using layered composite resin. One appointment, no lab work, and a low cost. They're reversible: remove them and you'll have your natural tooth back. They last 5-7 years and can stain with coffee, wine, or tobacco.
When the composite makes sense
To close small gaps, repair chipped edges, slightly lengthen a tooth, or test a new smile before switching to ceramic.
IPS and E-max ceramic veneers
They are made in a laboratory using a digital impression. They last 10-15 years, are stain-resistant, and have a translucency that mimics natural enamel. They require a small reduction in the enamel, usually 0.3-0.5 mm.
Professional whitening
When color is the only concern, in-office whitening can lighten teeth by 3-6 shades in a single session. The results last on average 1-2 years, and can be extended with maintenance sessions.
